2010 E3: Electronic Entertainment Expo

The Electronic Entertainment Expo, also known as E3, is an annual trade show for the computer and video games industry displayed by the Entertainment Software Association (ESA). It is also utilized by many video game developers to advertise their upcoming games and game-related hardware. E3 is widely regarded to be the ultimate expo in the video game industry as well as many video game critics including Gamespot, G4, IGN, and Game Informer Magazine. E3 2010 will take place in Los Angeles, USA and June 14 to June 17. Lets’ enjoy the booths in E3 this year as follows:


Trion Worlds’ Rift: Planes of Telara had one of the more organic looking booths of the show with a huge overgrown plant mass


To promote its LEGO Universe game, NetDevil had various characters made out of LEGO blocks such as Harry Potter, Hermione Granger, Ron Weasley, and Rubeus Hagrid in LEGO form


Ubisoft’s Chris Reed demonstrates the upcoming Our Shape: Fitness Evolved using Microsoft‘s Kinect hardware to allow players to do workout routines without a controller


Various Toy Story characters to promote Disney Interactive Studios’ Toy Story 3 game


The top of Microsoft’s booth is for journalists to get meetings with Microsoft executives and play with certain titles off the show floor on the large HDTVs


To promote Forza Motorsport 3, Microsoft had a Ferrari 458 Italia parked in a corner of the booth


At E3, Microsoft announced the new Xbox 360 with a new smaller frame with a new shiny black casing, and the base model will also have built-in Wi-Fi 802.11N and a 250 GB HD
