Tip 1 – Avoid Greasy Foods
Get a sandwich instead of that greasy burger. Or a salad instead of fries.
Although it’s not been proven that greasy foods cause acne, it HAS been proven that greasy fatty foods make it worse!
Tip 2 – Eat Lots of Fruits & Veggies
It’s a fact that fruits and veggies contain natural anti-oxidants. Eating lots of fresh fruits and vegetables can help cleanse your body of harmful toxins and can balance your hormones–the leading cause for severe acne.
Tip 3 – Drink Plenty of H2O
Avoid those sugary soft-drinks full of high fructose corn syrup. Drink water instead. This will help keep your blood sugar from spiking and give your body more bacteria fighting power.
Drinking at least 5 glasses of water is recommended to help cleanse your body when you have bad acne.
If you really hate water that much try drinking un-sweet or mildly sweet tea. Tea is something else packed full of powerful anti-oxidants.
Tip 4 – Take a Vitamin Supplement
We all know that vitamin E is great for your skin, but what I bet you didn’t know is that vitamins are essential to many body functions. At least take a 50mg Zinc supplement each day–Zinc is particularly good at helping control acne.
Tip 5 – Fiber, Fiber, and Fiber
Everybody poops. Gross you might think, but body regularity is important for your acne cure diet. Eat lots of fiber rich foods to get your daily recommended value.
Not only will regularity make you feel better and help with weight management, but it flushes out harmful bacteria and toxins that can aid in causing acne.
Tip 6 – Exercise
Finally exercise, but make sure you clean up afterward. Exercise can actually help improve acne and is a great way to top off your acne cure diet.
Be sure to shower, wash your face, and put on clean clothes afterward. Dirt and oil can hang around on those sweaty clothes and clog pours.
