Creating Change in Ourselves and Others

Today, I want to talk about how to change yourself and how to change others. As you know, it’s very difficult to change others, almost seemingly impossible because some people just don’t want to change. Or, if you’ve found it difficult to even get yourself to change, take heart. Here’s the reality. Change does happen. It just often doesn’t happen as fast as we’d like, especially when it comes to our own personal growth or in the personal growth of others.

So, how do we change them? How do we change ourselves? It happens in the form of seeds. That’s right. Seeds are the positive programming, influential advice. The things that may get planted today, but we won’t actually see them bear fruit until sometime in the distant future. It takes a combination of planting the seeds today and having patience as those seeds are nurtured and grown in the consciousness in the people that we’re hoping to change or even ourselves.

What do you think the Full Potential shows are about? They are really about positive programming for the mind, planting seeds today that will take root and grow as you think about it, as you reflect on it. Over time, it becomes a part of you and you come up with your own ideas that you just weren’t aware came about as a result of watching these shows -great ideas, brilliant ideas, life-changing, world-changing ideas. So the Full Potential Show is really about planting those seeds that will change you tomorrow into a better person.

You can apply the same principal in your own life if you want to help your friends or your family. Just surround them with positive seeds in the form of books, in the form of what you say to them. Share that, have patience and over time, people do become somewhat the product of their environment or the people that they associate with. You can be that positive force in their life if you’ll just have patience that what you’re sharing with them today does actually influence them in the long term.

I’m James Rick for the Full Potential Show – you’re number one, non-boring source for personal development. Be sure and subscribe to get more positive programming for your mind at Full or join us on our Facebook page on .
