Design: Featuring a now standard 4.3 inch display, the TomTom GO 720 is quite slim, measuring in at 4.6 x 3.2 x 0.9 inches and weighing 7.7 ounces. The device comes in black, silver and charcoal gray. The 4.3-inch touch screen is anti-glare, offering a resolution of 480×272 with bright and sharp color maps. The device also offers an alphabetical order virtual keyboard.

Specifications: The TomTom GO 720 comes with a 3.5mm jack, a connector port, a mini USB connector, a reset button and an SD/MMC expansion slot. You can also connect an external antenna along with a speaker. This model ships with a vehicle mount (windshield and dash), a desktop cradle, a car charger and manuals. The GPS features a 20-channel SiRFStarIII GPS receiver and 2GB worth of internal memory. It is also Bluetooth ready. The GPS also offers multimedia features that include an image viewer, music player, documents reader and iPod compatibility.

Features & Performance: Preloaded with maps and points of interest the TomTom Go 720 features a new function called Map Share. This allows you to customize your map, including points of interest and then share it with other drivers. The Find Alternative option was particularly useful as it allows you to plot a new course on the fly. Maps can be displayed in 2D or 3D while standard text and voice-guided turn-by-turn directions, including text-to-speech functions are also available. The GPS supports up to 36 different languages. To personalize the device, you can download celebrity voices or even your record you own voice.
