Do the little things in your life seem to build up? Do they build up to the point where you feel like you just can not handle them any more because they are too overwhelming? Are you starting to feel consumed by your worries and anxieties? If so, you need to learn how to beat stress and anxiety in your life. Every one has some stress and anxiety, no matter what they do. The key is to learn how to beat it and not let it beat you. Once you can do that, you can live a happier, healthier, and maybe even longer life.

One of the first things that you need to do is figure out what is causing you stress and anxiety. Is it your job? Your commute to work? Someone in your life? Your finances? Your family? You need to work, you need to drive to your job, etc. But there might be little things that make these things or situations more stressful. Perhaps listening to relaxing music or a book on tape will make your commute more enjoyable. Looking for a new job or talking to your boss about your current job might alleviate some stress at work. Look at how you can change the situations that are causing you stress.

If you are tired or sick or weak, your body will not be able to handle these situations as well. Get enough sleep every night – usually eight hours for most people, eat a well balanced diet and get some exercise. All of these things will help your body be prepared to deal with anxiety and stress when it does come up.
