Despite the fact that fruit really should be eaten in moderation while on a Paleo diet, a small snack does not do any harm. A banana, kiwi, grapes, pears, or strawberries can be eaten without any extra ingredients. However, almond butter or honey can be added for additional flavor.

There are many snacks which can be made by mixing up several ingredients like:

Fruit and nut salad: in which the flavor of fruit is intensified by the taste of several types of nuts. Honey can always be added as a natural sweetener.

Meat and fruit: stuffed dates in which almonds, nut butter and bacon are all put together with dates turning this blend into a mixture of flavors and healthy nutrients. Although this recipe has a cooking time of 20 to 25 minutes, it’s worth every waiting minute. The stuffed dates can be cooked during dinner time and set aside for later.

Vegetable Mini Quiche: Eggs, meat and vegetables are the 3 primary ingredients for the mini quiches. A breeze to prepare and with a maximum cooking time of 30 minutes, these mini quiches are excellent snacks that taste even better when they’re cold. They could be prepared during lunch or dinner or even in the evening. Having them in the kitchen means being tasty Paleo snack ready.
