If you have asked yourself numerous times, how do I get rid of moles on my face, I will tell you about a method that somebody had used that was very barbaric. I wanted to tell you about this method because to me it seems as if it’s a dangerous technique to use and it should be avoided.
This person was terrified of going to their dermatologist in order to have a mole frozen off or least injected with some sort of syringe and then having it cut off with a trusty scalpel. A lot of people have this sort of fear and I am one of those people. It’s a different story if you are asleep while this is happening, but because the surgery for a mole is rather mild in comparison to other types of surgeries, there is a huge chance that you see the needle going into the mole.
Okay, back to the story about this outrageous method that someone had used. What this person did was they attempted to freeze the mole and the tissue surrounding it by simply holding an ice cube onto the surface of the skin. I don’t know about you, but just the thought of doing this and believing that you are actually freezing enough layers of skin is a little bit strange.
Now this person pulled out their non-sterilized razor and started slicing away at the mole. This person reported that there was not a lot of bleeding and that there wasn’t any swelling and all. The next step that they used was to just to apply a band aid to the surface.
The funny part of this story is that this person proceeded to conserve the mole in a small bottle of alcohol believing that they could just run to their local lab to have it analyzed.
